Welcome to my blog, I’m Laura.

You could say I’m someone who genuinely loves good conversation, real connection, and asking thoughtful questions. I started this space because I kept running into the same kinds of chats with other moms — at school drop-off, at soccer practice, in group texts — about everything from budgeting headaches to home repairs to how on earth we’re supposed to find time for ourselves. This blog grew out of that energy — not just to share what I’ve learned, but to keep learning together.
My background is in finance and content strategy, but real life has been my best teacher. I’ve launched businesses, navigated debt, bought and sold homes, and figured out the messy middle of managing money while raising a family. When I write about business and finance, it’s with the goal of making things feel less intimidating — because it should never take a law degree to understand your own options.
Wellness became a personal priority after years of ignoring the signs of burnout — something I now know many moms relate to. I write about health not from a place of perfection, but from experience. From mental clarity to meal planning, I share what’s worked (and what hasn’t), always with respect for how full and varied our lives really are.
Travel is a big part of what inspires me, whether it’s a family trip that turns into chaos in the best way or a solo weekend that clears my head. I write about travel because I believe it reveals our values and gives us room to breathe. It connects naturally to lifestyle — how we create space for joy, meaning, and the messiness of everyday life.
And then there’s real estate — something I fell into and quickly fell in love with. From fixing up our first home to helping friends navigate their first move, I’ve always found homes fascinating: not just the walls and floors, but the way we live in them. This blog is my way of continuing the conversation — with moms, with neighbors, with anyone trying to build a good life, one smart choice at a time.
Cheers!
Laura
